Solid chair. The wood wasn't drilled completely behind one of the bolt attachments. I trip to the hardware store for a shorter bolt fixed that. The bolt heads are not right for the lockwashers, but this should still work ok. The seat is pictured as having a contoured milled section for your bottom. Many old chairs did this. My assembly did not have this. I am disappointed, but not enough to disassemble and return. My husband is a bigger guy and he loves itThis chair is made in Brazil. The hardware is solid and what I expect from a good self-assembly kit. Each piece of wood is labeled with a number, and orientation as required. Each type of hardware is labeled with a letter. It took me 15 minutes to assemble from clear instructions, which time is very reasonable. The chair looks good and is very rigid to sit on. I have two minor issues. One expects from a higher-priced wood desk chair a hollow or depression in the seat surface of a certain shape to accommodate the sitter's anatomy. This chair seat has a sort of hollow but it seems carved by hand and does not have a particular anatomical shape. The slight hollow or depression is more for decoration than functionality. That is not a deal breaker because the depression is slight. The other issue is two paper orientation arrows on the legs. To remove them I had to resort to using a fresh box cutter blade (very carefully) to separate the paper from the wood which then left a residue of adhesive. However, the adhesive is perfectly soluble in rubbing alcohol and cleaned up well. A different choice of adhesive label would be appreciated.Very light weight chair. Easily broken. Looks good and matched the furniture that I bought it to go with.Painted gloss white for my nieces room. Assembly was very easy, follow the picture instructions A,B,C. All the bolts and screws went on very well using some electric tools and making sure not to over tighten. I wondered if I should have used some wood glue when fitting the pieces together and using the provided screws, it would have made the chair more sturdy and last longer. I know my niece will rock back and forth on it, but the chair is sturdy following the directions with the bolts and screws provided. Time will tell and if it breaks, I’ll just fix it or buy another one.I like it, matches my writing table. Assembly was not easy for me. I was very organized with the parts and followed instructions step by step, but the bottom bits #5 & #6…something went wrong there. Other than that, it feels pretty sturdy and looks like the basic chair I was looking for…not sure if its worth $70 though.Lost my original remote and bought this one as a replacement. Works great. Thanks.Product was very straight forward. You need to read the instructions to make sure you’re putting the correct legs on the specific side. The bolts do require some play to make sure they all go in but the instructions tell you not to over tighten then until you have them installed first then tighten for assembly. I didn’t really do that and didn’t have issue. Last 3 bolts were “harder” but not impossible. Chair is super sturdy. Looks good. And feels nice. Will be getting a cushion though
