I bought 4 of these shelves, 2 in black and 2 in brown. They are beautiful! I agree with other reviews regarding difficulty hanging. They don't come with any hardware. I made a template and they went up relatively easy despite this. I like the black ones best due to the color hiding the top piece which is a cheap looking wood. The brown color shows this cheap wood more. I hung the brown shelves in an area where the top part isn't too noticeable. So if you are trying to decide between black and brown, I definitely recommend the black. I like the uniqueness and rustic look to these shelves. Four stars instead of five due to the lack of hardware to hang and the cheap looking top.
