I ordered this to hang on a cream colored wall but do to the trim on the plague being white it didn't look good at wall.I loved the picture so much I didn't want to return it so my husband suggested painting the trim black.I was a bit nervous about messing it up but it turned out great.I think the picture looks better with the black trim.On a wall with a collection of pictures from France. ;)Love the picture. The red tower is perfect with the black and white. Very sturdy.
