I love the colors on this clock, the problem is you can't read what time it is unless you're standing just a couple feet from it! The hour/minute hands are black and I really didn't realize till getting it that you can't see it from more than a couple feet away, not practical. What I did was paint the hour/minute hands with white acrylic paint I purchased from a local hobby store and now I can see it from several rooms away. You'll be able to see the difference in the before and after photos. I would have given this a 5 star if it had come with white hour/minute hands.
