I was nervous upon opening the box because I could here the giraffe sliding around & had fear that it may have been damaged. After carefully opening the box I found that the head of the giraffe was wrapped with bubble wrap, ensuring that the most delicate parts were not damaged in shipping.The giraffe is beautiful & smooth to the touch. I bought this as a birthday present for my friend's granddaughter & it will add a nice touch to her bedroom. It's going to be very hard for her to resist picking it up :-)
